Well, it has been an extremely busy past couple of months for the Owczarz family! In short:
*Draik placed 6th at the State Debate Tournament. OK, 6th place isn't all that, right? Well, to get a high place in state, one must complete 4 rounds of debate action. Draik had a raging stomach bug the day of the tournament...as a matter of fact, she braved it and drove down with my dear friends, Kellie and Harold Mullican, and their daughter, Katie, since I had the raging stomach bug, also. So, Draik gets to competition and only completes 2 ROUNDS!!!! She gets goose eggs for rounds 3 and 4, and still manages to place 6th in the state. Unbelieveable! Draik, you rock!
*Draik also performed in Seussical, Jr! a few weeks back. She had such a great time performing (even though she didn't get the Sour Kangaroo part and was only a dancer). She, Jeanna and Maisie were all dancers and did a great job! Afterward, they went to the cast party at the Calhoun Convention Center where they tried to have a good time, but unfortunately had to end it early due to inclement weather.
*Regan has completed his soccer season and his team did an awesome job. They only lost 1 all season! They only got to complete 8 games due to all the rain, but his team rocked! He also brought home straight A's again, much to the disgust of Draik. Even though she brings home all A's...her average is around 95 right now and Regan's average this past report card was a 99.8! Regan, you rock!
*Riley is just so freaking cute! He is now 4 1/2 months old! He is eating solids and his Phe levels are extremely low again...so he's having to eat more cereal to get his Phe levels up. He is about 26" long and weights about 17 lbs. He babbles, drools, rolls over and does all kinds of neat tricks for us.
